How are your net curtains sold?

All of our net curtains are cut to your chosen size. Simply select your window width and preferred gather, and we will cut the curtain to the correct finished width. Side edges are unhemmed, as net curtain fabric does not fray, and the curtain is supplied ready to hang.

Are the net curtains supplied in pairs?

Each order contains one net curtain panel cut to your required size.

How do I measure my window?

Please refer to our Measuring Guide for full step-by-step instructions on measuring your window and choosing the correct gather option.

If you are unsure about any measurements, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to assist.

What is gather?

Gather refers to the amount of fullness in the finished curtain.

Available options include:

• Flat (No Gather)
• 1.5x Gather
• 2x Gather (Recommended)
• 2.5x Gather
• 3x Gather

For most windows, we recommend 2x gather to achieve a traditional net curtain appearance.

What does the "Width of Your Window" option mean?

Enter the actual width of your window or net rod (without gather). We automatically calculate the finished curtain width based on your selected gather.

What is the net drop?

Measure from the top of your net rod to where you would like the curtain to finish, then select the nearest available drop.

Can I order a custom size?

We cut all net curtains to the width required based on the measurements entered during ordering. However, drop sizes are fixed and must be selected from the available options shown on the product page.

Do you offer free custom cutting?

Yes. All net curtains are cut to the width required based on the measurements and gather option selected during ordering.

Will my curtain arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Your net curtain will arrive cut to size and ready to hang on a suitable net rod or wire.

What type of heading do your net curtains have?

Most of our net curtains feature a slot top (rod pocket) heading suitable for net wires, tension rods and telescopic rods up to approximately 19mm in diameter. Please check individual product descriptions for details.

Are the sides hemmed?

Net curtain fabric does not normally fray, so side hemming is not usually required. Side edges may be manufacturer finished or clean-cut depending on the design.

Are the product photographs accurate?

We make every effort to ensure product images accurately represent the design. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting conditions and manufacturing variations.

How long will my order take?

Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days, although this may be longer during busy periods.

Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.

Which delivery service do you use?

All orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked services.

How much does delivery cost?

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to mainland United Kingdom addresses only.

We do not currently ship to:

• Northern Ireland
• Republic of Ireland
• Europe
• Channel Islands
• Isle of Man
• BFPO addresses
• International destinations

Can I return my order?

As each net curtain is cut to your measurements, returns are not accepted for incorrect measurements or change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

What if my order is faulty, damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We may request photographs to help investigate the issue and will work with you to resolve it.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed securely by our payment providers. NETCURTAIN4U does not store or have access to your full payment card details.

Fabric Samples

Do you offer fabric samples?

Yes. We offer fabric samples for most of our net curtain designs, allowing you to see the pattern, colour and quality before ordering your full curtain.

What size are the fabric samples?

Samples are approximately 30cm cut from the shortest available drop for the selected design. They are intended to show the lace pattern, texture and quality and are not full-size curtains.

Can I order more than one sample?

Yes. You may order up to 5 samples per customer, with a maximum of 1 sample per design.

Can I return a fabric sample?

No. Fabric samples are supplied for evaluation purposes only and are non-returnable.

Can I order the full curtain after receiving my sample?

Each sample page includes a direct link to the corresponding full curtain. Simply click the "ORDER YOUR FULL CUT TO SIZE CURTAIN" button to order your made-to-measure net curtain in your chosen size.
